Is there an exam in Units 1 & 2?

No external exam – Units 1 & 2 are assessed at school (satisfactory or not satisfactory, plus school SACs). Your ATAR study score is earned in Units 3 & 4.

If Year 11 does not count, why get tutoring?

Because it builds the foundations Units 3 & 4 assume. Mastering English Language in Year 11 means starting Year 12 ahead instead of relearning the basics.
