VCE Group Classes: Small-Group Tutoring, $49 an Hour

Our group classes are weekly, online, 2-4 students – same subject, same units, one of our top-scoring tutors – at $49 an hour per student instead of $94 for 1-on-1. Classes run on fixed weekly times and start as soon as the seats fill. The classes forming right now are below, with live seat counts – if your subject is there, one enquiry can be the one that starts the class. How group classes work

Same model as our 1-on-1, shared between 2-4 students: a weekly online class at a fixed time, taught by the same top-scoring tutors, following the current VCAA study design for your exact units. You enrol, we confirm the timeslot with the group, and the class runs every week through the term – SAC-aligned, with the same HZ resources included. While a class is still filling, we keep you updated weekly on where it is up to, and you can switch your enquiry to a 1-on-1 free trial at any point rather than wait. Know a classmate doing the same subject? Enrolling together is the fastest way to start the class – mention them in your enquiry.

Our honest advice: if you are more than a unit behind, or chasing a specific study score jump, start 1-on-1 – the rank game rewards targeted work. If you want structured weekly momentum with built-in accountability at half the price, group is a great tool. Many families do a term of each. How much do VCE group classes cost?

How many students are in a class?

Two to four, always the same subject and the same units – we never mix a Units 1&2 student into a Units 3&4 class.

What happens while a class is still filling?

We keep you updated weekly on seat counts, and you choose: wait for the class, or start with a 1-on-1 free trial in the meantime. If a class you enquired about has filled, you get first option on the next intake.

Can I join with a friend?

Yes – and it is the fastest way to start a class, since two enrolments can open a group immediately. Mention your classmate’s subject and units in your enquiry.

Which subjects run group classes?

Any VCE subject we tutor – English, Methods, Specialist, General Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Economics and Legal Studies. Classes open wherever two or more students want the same subject and units.

Can I switch between group and 1-on-1?

Yes, at any term point in either direction – and we will tell you honestly if we think the other format suits you better.
