VCE Exam Countdown 2026

The 2026 VCE written exams run from Tuesday 27 October to Wednesday 18 November (the official examination period opens Monday 26 October, but no written papers sit that day). English and EAL – the first major paper – sit on Tuesday 27 October, 9:00 am. Performance and oral exams start earlier, on 5 October. The live countdown below tracks exactly how long you have left.

What to do with the time you have left

3+ months out: the biggest gains come from fixing weak topics, not re-reading strong ones. Work through our free subject study guides and get your SAC bases covered – SACs are a big share of your study score.
